It’s human nature to wonder what would happen if we could go back in time and change something that happened, like say, a tragic event, knowing all that we do now. There are pros and cons to either side, with one wondering if you did change the course of what was truly destined to happen, what ramifications would occur? But yet, if you could prevent a tragedy from happening, wouldn’t you do whatever you could to stop it? These are just some of the questions that come to mind when reading The Resurrection Encounter: A Science Fiction Parable for a Nuclear Age by author Tom Skore.

Author Tom T. Skore presents a fresh perspective on a well-known historical event: the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, in his book The Resurrection Encounter: A Science Fiction Parable for a Nuclear Age. What if there was a way to time-travel and somehow intervene in the events that unfolded, would Jesus’ message have been better received at a later time in the future, or would the outcome have been similar? These questions and many more are the central focus of this radically imaginative novel.
Tranquility Moon received a review from Hollywood Book Reviews.
Space begins to feel like a safer place than Earth when a shooting at Paul Connor’s son’s school; one adjacent to his daughter’s, rattles Paul’s nerves. It seems even the alien inhabitants of the moon are distressed by the violence on Earth and seek Paul’s help to find a solution. Could man’s first contact with an alien race be a goodwill mission to find peace on Earth, or do the aliens have something else in mind? Not only does Paul have to get his superiors and colleagues to trust and believe him, he must figure out if they can trust the Entity and their intentions.

Life on Earth is not an easy life to live with all of the violence happening within our society. So what would happen if an alien race had a plan to be rid of the violence on Earth and have a world at peace for once? Would it be a situation where we could actually trust the alien lifeforms, or would it cause too much geopolitical strife on Earth for them to ever be fully trusted to achieve world peace? That is one of the main plot points of Tranquility Moon: Where Violence Has No Voice by author Tom Skore.
